Brian Robinson of Mechanic Falls dances Monday on the bridge that crosses over the Little Androscoggin River in Mechanic Falls. Robinson is a regular presence on the bridge, where his dancing helps ease his boredom and lifts other people’s spirits. “Everyone is suffering,” Robinson said, “I give them a chance to smile and make them want to love someone.” He was recently inspired by learning about Polish families opening their homes to Ukrainian immigrants. “That’s how I am,” he said “The devil can’t get to me; I am on an assignment from God.” Andree Kehn/Sun Journal
