Ann Carmen Richmond

PORTLAND – Ann Carmen Richmond, 71, a former resident of Livermore, passed away Sunday, Feb. 13, 2022 at her residence. She was born March 31, 1950 in Turner, the daughter of Clifton Richmond and Violet (McLaughlin) Richmond. She grew up on the family farm in Livermore. Ann was a 1971 graduate of Livermore Falls High School.

Throughout the years Ann worked as a bookkeeper at various businesses, later relocating to Portland to be closer to her work. Ann enjoyed going to the casinos, scratch tickets, and socializing with her neighbors. She also loved to paint and did some beautiful artwork.

She is survived by her brother-in-law, Clarence Bryant of Livermore, sisters-in-law, Dolly Richmond of Sarasota, Fla. and Donna Richmond of Turner; nieces, Paula Bryant of Livermore, Pam Claypole of Canton, Ga., Pat DeMeurers of Florida, and Nancy Richmond of Naples, Fla., her nephews, Brian Bryant of Auburn and Scott Richmond of Livermore.

She was predeceased by her parents, and her siblings, Floyd “Sonny” Richmond, Jeanne Bryant and Thomas Richmond.

The family would like to thank the staff at Maine Medical, the dialysis centers and her friends and tenants at the Old School House Apartments for their care and support over the last few years as her health declined.
