Thursday was Spanish day in the sixth-grade English classes at Livermore Falls Middle School as students took their spelling words, which were all of Spanish extraction, and had to dress and act out a part as they taught a mini lesson on one of the words such as bolero, fiesta, poncho and stampede. The students were Dana Gower as a caballero, Randy Stewart as Carmen Miranda, Mark Melanos, Casey Joudrey, and Jan Carruthers with Spanish hats.
The material used in Looking Back is produced exactly as it originally appeared although misspellings and errors may be corrected.
