HEBRON — Hebron Academy officials announced they are implementing a flat annual tuition rate for residents of Oxford and Androscoggin counties.
According to Mary Warner, acting head of school, Hebron is “rolling out a flat annual tuition rate of $18,000, an almost 50% discount off its current day student tuition of $34,600, starting in the 2022-23 academic year. Additional financial aid is not available. Students may be eligible to apply for endowed scholarships for students from Maine.”
“In alignment with this renewed commitment to its community and place in Maine,” Warner said in a press release, “Hebron has initiated outreach into its community. This year, students participated in the school’s annual Giving Tree program, through which, holiday gifts and goods were provided to nearly 50 local families in need. In addition, this holiday season, faculty and staff are donating turkeys to Hope Haven Gospel Mission in Lewiston.”
Founded as a coeducational school in 1804, Hebron has a faculty and staff of almost 100 people and supports 260 boarding and day students from grade 6 to postgraduate.
