WEST PARIS — The First Universalist Church of West Paris, 208 Main St., invites all to attend the following services at 9 a.m. Sundays. Members are wearing masks during the worship service, but still singing.
• Dec. 5, “Window Reflections,” led by the Rev. Fayre Stephenson, and covering the Bible-based stained-glass windows in the First Universalist Church of Norway, 479 Main St.
• Dec. 12, the church is closed while the congregation attends a service at the First Universalist Church in South Paris, 36 Pine St. The service starts at 9:30 a.m.
• Dec. 19, “Candles in the Darkness,” led by Stephenson, which explores the qualities of light and darkness as they are revealed in the lessons of Hanukkah, Advent, and the Winter Solstice.
• Dec. 24, Christmas Eve candlelight service, 5 p.m., led by Stephenson. This service will be a traditional service of readings and carols for the whole family. There will be special music and participants from the congregation.
