The Trinity Episcopal Church is transferring ownership of their building to the Trinity Jubilee Center, which has rented the Church’s undercroft for 30 years. The staff are working with the church to convert their space into a performing arts center and wedding venue. They will continue worshipping upstairs but the Jubilee Center will be able to rent out the space and bring in money to support the upkeep of the building.
Planned renovations in the Jubilee Center include adding a shower, a washer and dryer for the homeless, and updating the medical clinic. In addition, food storage and distribution space for the Jubilee Center downstairs and bathrooms for the arts center upstairs will be added. Construction is planned to begin next year.
