Friday, 7 p.m.
The Patriots wrap up the regular season against the Seahawks while fighting for postseason positioning in the 8-man Large School South division. Boothbay is in a similar fight in the Small School division.

Freeport (4-1) at Winthrop/Monmouth/Hall-Dale (4-0)
Friday, 7 p.m.

There’s little question that the Falcons are the biggest test that the Ramblers have faced so far this season. Winthrop closes the regular season with a three-game gauntlet of Freeport, Foxcroft and Oak Hill.

Lake Region (2-3) at Spruce Mountain (4-2)
Friday, 7 p.m.
The Phoenix and Lakers are vying for the No. 3 spot in 8-man Large School South. Spruce Mountain enters with the upper hand in the Crabtree standings and is looking to lock up the spot heading into the postseason, which begins next week.

Lisbon (0-3) at John Bapst (0-4)
Friday, 7 p.m.
A real sight-for-sore-eyes game for both winless squads. The Greyhounds haven’t played in two weeks, while the Crusaders are coming off a 27-point effort against Class D-leading Foxcroft.

Mountain Valley (1-3) at Old Orchard Beach (4-2)
Friday, 7 p.m.
The Falcons don’t have a great record, but they still have a lot to gain by defeating the Seagulls, who are looking to bounce back from letting a 24-point halftime lead slip away in last week’s loss to Dirigo.

Mt. Blue (1-3) at Messalonskee (2-4)
Friday, 7 p.m.
The Cougars earned their first win of what has been a difficult season last week against Old Town. This week, they face the Eagles, who have lost three straight since an early two-game win streak ended a lengthy stretch of losses that dated back years.

Noble (4-2) at Edward Little (0-6)
Friday, 7 p.m.
The Knights have been formidable in B South and sit in a three-way tie for second. This week, they play up a class when they travel to Auburn to face the Red Eddies, who are itching to get back in the win column.

Bangor (5-1) at Lewiston (1-5)
Friday, 7 p.m.
A rematch — put together because original opponents Sanford and Scarborough, respectively, had to back out of their matchups — of a Week 2 game that the Rams won 42-6 at home. The Blue Devils have stabilized some since that game, and will be at home, but Bangor still has the look of a contender in Class A.

Thornton (6-0) at Oxford Hills (6-0)
Friday, 7 p.m.
Possibly the game of the year in the entire state. The Golden Trojans have made a few statements with an 84-13 win over Bangor and a 35-14 win over Bonny Eagle. The Vikings, meanwhile, are aiming to make another significant statement of their own.

Yarmouth (1-5) at Dirigo (4-2)
Friday, 7 p.m.
The Cougars’ come-from-behind win over Old Orchard Beach last week was a declaration that they’ll be a force in 8-man Small School South. The Clippers, meanwhile, are lodged at the bottom of Large School South.

Traip Academy (0-6) at Telstar (6-0)
Saturday,1:30 p.m.
The Rangers hold the distinction of being responsible for one of the four touchdowns scored against the Rebels. However, they also allowed Telstar to score more than any of its other opponents, 62 points in a 62-6 Week 1 victory.
