When I saw Carl Sheline was running for mayor, I was grateful. I had been praying for a strong candidate.

I have had the opportunity to interact with Carl in many ways. His choosing to live, work and enjoy Lewiston as he got to know us for who we really are was a major commitment.

His belief in our community — from children to young entrepreneurs and upcoming leaders, while not forgetting the worth of our elderly — was a sign of hope. His enthusiasm and pride for our downtown and outskirts as a total community is a good thing.

Lewiston is on the cusp of great and marvelous things. I see him as a businessman, parent and citizen putting Lewiston in the forefront where it belongs.
