MONMOUTH — Hayden Fletcher’s first-half goal lifted Monmouth to a 1-0 boys soccer win over Hall-Dale on Wednesday.
The goal is the 99th of Fletcher’s career. Earlier this season, be became the Monmouth boys soccer program’s all-time leading scorer.
Goalie Hunter Frost made seven saves for the Mustangs. Jackson Leach made 12 saves for the Bulldogs.
OAK HILL 6, WINTHROP 3: Ethan Vattaso scored a hat trick for the Raiders (5-4) in a win over the Ramblers (3-7) in Winthrop.
Koby Lafata had a goal and two assists for Oak Hill and Jordan Castonguay had a goal.
Tyler Shumway and Iker Penniman had a goal and an assist for Winthrop while Matt Beck scored once.
Cade Fessenden made five saves for Oak Hill and Jaxon August made seven saves for Winthrop.
FIELD HOCKEY
DIRIGO 4, SPRUCE MOUNTAIN 0: Emily Woods had a goal and an assist for the Cougars (8-2-1) in their win over the Phoenix (2-5-2) in Jay.
Alicia Perreault, Grace Averill and Kathryn Callendar also scored for Dirigo.
OAK HILL 1, HALL-DALE 0: Cassie Steckino put home the winning goal in double overtime in the Raiders’ (3-7) win over Bulldogs (1-4-1) in Wales.
Julie Mooney had the assist. Oak Hill goalie Sierra Lane made seven saves in the victory.
Kelsey Cormier had 15 saves for Hall-Dale.
SKOWHEGAN 5, EDWARD LITTLE 0: Norie Tibbetts notched a hat trick and had an assist for the River Hawks (9-0) in a win over the Red Eddies (1-11) in Auburn.
Laney Leblanc had two goals and two assists in the win.
Gwyn Turgeon made three saves for Skowhegan and Kaey Smith stopped 12 shots for EL.
