Trees were uprooted Monday afternoon during a fast-moving thunderstorm in Sabattus. Sabattus and Wales fire crews, along with Sabattus Public Works, spent hours cutting up the fallen trunks and limbs and clearing the area. Some witnesses said the storm created what appeared to be a tornado in the School Road area, although that had not been confirmed.
