In response to Gregory D’Augustine’s letter (“Biden has done much good,” Aug. 24), it looks like President Biden has a friend.
What D’Augustine failed to mention are all the meaningful things Biden inherited from the previous administration, like a strong foreign policy, a secure border, energy independence, the vaccine, a recovering economy, and much more.
During one of his few news conference appearances, on Aug. 24, Biden — instead of immediately addressing the dire withdrawal crisis in Afghanistan (which he caused) — took a victory lapse for narrowly passing a so-called infrastructure bill to the tune of $3.5 trillion. Most of this bill includes giveaways; a small part goes for actual infrastructure.
Biden is a mortally-wounded president. Certainly the worst ever in U.S. history. Our own Big Tech media is our enemy. Because of them, Biden is being protected.
So, Mr. D’Augustine is rooting for a loser with blood on his hands. If he noticed, compared to former President Trump, Biden only accepts very few questions from select reporters and walks away dodging and ignoring many more questions.
President Trump often gave over an hour of his time with reporters at his news conferences. There is a travesty happening right now in Afghanistan, but those who rely on the Big Tech media for untold truths remain uninformed.
