Maine Mini Golf Tour is pleased to announce the return of the Tabers Fall League at Tabers Restaurant and Mini Golf in Auburn, Maine.

Beginning Monday, August 23 and running for five weeks, the Tabers Fall League will follow a slightly different format this season, using four different formats over five weeks to encourage more participation and reward a wider group of prize winners.

The dates and times for the league will be as follows: Monday, August 23, 5:30 p.m.; Monday, August 30, 5:30 p.m.; Sunday, Sept. 12, 10:30 a.m.; Sunday, Sept. 19, 10:30 a.m.; Sunday, Sept. 26, 10:30 a.m.

Each week, adults will pay $10 and juniors (12-under) will pay $8 to play two rounds of mini golf. If there are four or more juniors, we will have a separate junior division.

Each week will feature a new format as follows: Week 1 – Standard scoring (Lowest two-round score wins); Week 2 – Two-person best ball (Lowest score among the two players counts, pairs determined by previous week scoring, or scorer); Week 3 – Alternate shot (Form your own team of two, take turns hitting the ball, no reset after each hole); Week 4 – Two-person blind draw (Play two rounds as normal. After scores are posted, pick names out of a hat for two-person pairs. Lowest scoring pairs win);

Week 5 – Standard scoring (Lowest two-round score wins).
There is a cash prize each week that will depend on the number of entries and the format. The winner’s share will be half the total prize pool. Other places will pay based on the number of entries.
