AUBURN — A local man was seriously injured Thursday night after his car rolled on Washington Street and he was ejected.
The crash was reported about 7:15 p.m. when the car flipped near Hackett Road. A witness reported that the driver was ejected from the vehicle when it rolled.
Police said the driver was the lone occupant.
Police, fire and rescue crews were on the scene minutes later and part of the roadway was shut down to traffic. Later in the night, investigators were reconstructing the scene with help from Lewiston police.
No further details were released.
One person familiar with the victim said he is an Auburn man who recently graduated from Edward Little High School.
No details about the driver’s condition were available Thursday night.
