Kennebec Land Trust plans to hold its annual meeting Sunday, Aug. 22, outside at Camp Winnebago at 19 Echo Lake Road in Fayette.

The meeting is begin with a tour on the nearby 120-acre Hewett Oak Hill property, followed by:

• a bring-your-own picnic;

• a raffle of a painting of the trust’s Wakefield Cabins (featured on “Maine Cabin Masters”);

• summer intern research presentations;

• KLT’s annual awards, including the Howard Lake Lifetime Achievement Awards; and

• recognition of recent KLT land donors:

Jacobs-Stanley Conservation Area — 277 acres, Monmouth – Charlie Jacobs and Rebecca Stanley;

Tyler Conservation Area — 50 acres, Readfield – John W. and Henry M. Tyler; and

Weston Woods Preserve — 55 acres, East Winthrop — Bob and Jim Weston.

Founded in 1988, the trust has conserved more than 7,200 acres and has constructed over 55 miles of trails on trust lands.
