Dale Brown of Lewiston, left, carries his rosary beads while leading a group of about 20 in prayer Tuesday afternoon as they cross from Auburn into Lewiston’s Simard-Payne Memorial Park. The group started at Sacred Heart Church in Auburn with a short prayer session before setting out to Holy Family Church in Lewiston. After a short break, they continued the pilgrimage to other churches and religious settings in the area where they picked up more walkers as they went. The group ended at the Basilica of Saints Peter & Paul in Lewiston for a tour and a special mass in the evening. The event was to celebrate the Feast of Saints Peter & Paul.
