UNION — Vose Library will host an exhibit of the editorial cartoons of Douglas Coffin.
Coffin’s single-panel, black-and-white cartoons were a popular feature of the upstart Waldo Independent — a Belfast-based weekly newspaper that from 1985 to 2008, provided competition to the deep-rooted Republican Journal, offering an alternative perspective on local news and issues.
Coming from the Belfast Free Public Library where it has been on exhibit since March, Vose Library is hosting this retrospective through April 30 at 392 Common Road.
For more information, visit voselibrary.org or call to make an appointment to view this exhibit during open library hours at 207-785-4733.
