CUMBERLAND — Ella Kellogg scored 15 points, Molly Corbett added 13 and Cassidy Dumont 10 and Oxford Hills remained unbeaten on the season with a 58-35 girls basketball win over Greely on Monday.
After a slow start, Oxford Hills closed the first quarter on a 7-0 run for a 12-7 lead. The Vikings then rode a 9-0 run in the second period to a 27-16 halftime advantage as six different players scored.
Greely drew within 10 early in the third period, but consecutive 3-pointers from Corbett opened it up and Oxford Hills led by as much as 20 before taking a 45-28 lead to the fourth.
The Rangers (2-1) got 14 points from Camille Clement.
LEWISTON 42, BRUNSWICK 41: The Blue Devils (4-2) rallied back to defeat the Dragons (2-3) after trailing by eight points heading into the final quarter in Lewiston.
Lewiston outscored Brunswick 20-11 in the fourth. Myah Nicolas topped the Blue Devils with 13 points, including a pair of 3-pointers. Emily Strachan also hit a pair of treys and finished with 11 points.
Brunswick’s Logan Brown drained five 3-pointers and led all scorers with 18 points.
HALL-DALE 45, BOOTHBAY 44: Hayden Madore scored 19 points to lead the Bulldogs to a win over the Seahawks in Boothbay.
Iris Ireland scored eight points, while KK Wills added 6 points for Hall-Dale.
Glory Blethen led Boothbay with 21 points, while Meg Sledge added eight points.
BOYS BASKETBALL
MT. ABRAM 81, VALLEY 27: Dylan Thorne scored 15 points to lead the Roadrunners to a win over the Cavaliers in Strong.
Payton Mitchell scored 14 points, while Trevor Phelps added 11 points for Mt. Abram.
Kayden Cool led Valley with 15 points, while Thomas Bishop added 12 points.
