SALEM TOWNSHIP — Kenyon Pillsbury scores 20 points to lead Mt. Abram as it squeaked by Madison 67-64 in boys basketball on Thursday.

Kenyon Pillsbury scored 20 points as the Roadrunners squeaked by the Bulldogs in Salem.

Adam Luke chipped in 16 points and Hunter Warren had 12 points for the Roadrunners.

Callan Franzae led the Bulldogs with 18 points, while Cameron Cobb had 17 points and Cameron Melancon finished with 11.

SPRUCE MOUNTAIN 71, CARRABEC 33: Camden Phillips paced the Phoenix with 16 points in their win over the Cobras in Jay.

Ian York and Lorne Grondin each contributed 14 points for Spruce Mountain.

Luke Carey scored 18 points to lead Carrabec.

WINTHROP 44, BOOTHBAY 35: Logan Baird led the Ramblers with 15 points in an MVC boys basketball victory at home against Boothbay in Winthrop.

Gavin Perkins added 10 points for Winthrop (2-2).

Sullivan Rice led the Seahawks (1-1) with 14 points. Ben Pearce chipped in 12.

CARRABEC 49, SPRUCE MOUNTAIN 33:
Cheyenne Cahill scored 10 points to lead the Cobras to a win over Phoenix in North Anson.

Courtney Rollins and Julia Baker each added eight points for Carrabec.

Mariyah Fournier led Spruce Mountain with 11 points.

WINTHROP 44, BOOTHBAY 26: Sage Fortin paced Winthrop with 16 points as the Ramblers defeated the Seahawks in Boothbay Harbor.

Madison Forgue added 12 points for Winthrop (2-2).

Jaelyn Crocker scored 10 points and Glory Blethen had eight for Boothbay (1-3).

TWILIGHT SERIES: Alex Hemingway of Mt. Abram won the boys race at Titcomb with a time of 17:08.6. Carson Zundel (17:17.1) of Mt. Blue finished in second and Max Olmstead (17:38.1) of Maranacook finished in third.

Abramham Grissinger (18:59.0) was Spruce Mountain’s top finisher with a seveth place finish.

Mt. Blue swept the top three in the girls race, with Emma Charles winning with a time of 18:01.8, Brynne Robbins (20:13.9) taking second and Kamryn Joyce (21:21.8) coming in third. Muriel Lattin (31:27.5) of Winthrop finished in 21st.
