NORWAY — The Oxford Rec Department will have its annual free community barbecue and music by the Classic Echoes from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 17.

There will be a demonstration of kid’s yoga in four 15-minute segments from 2 to 3 p.m., led by a certified instructor from Mindful Seed Yoga. There will be also face painting for the kids.

WILTON — A roast pork supper will be held Saturday, Aug. 17, at the Harland M. Harnden Masonic Hall, 70 Bryant Road, East Wilton. The meal, to be held from 5 to 6:30 p.m., will include roast pork, potatoes, veggies, rolls, strawberry shortcake and beverages.

Cost is $8 for adults and $5 for those under 12.

PARIS— AMVETS Post 777 will hold its monthly supper from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 24, at the post, Church Street in South Paris.
