LEWISTON — Ray and Rachel Cote will be celebrating 55 years of marriage on June 20, 2019.

The couple were high school sweethearts and married shortly after graduating from Lewiston High School. Ray worked in the family business for many years, Cote’s Dairy and also Cote’s Ice Cream. He later owned and operated College Street Mini Golf & Driving Range.

Rachel worked for Central Maine Medical Center and then St. Mary’s Hospital.

They have four children: Kathy Cote Guarnieri of California, Christine Cote Gaskill of North Carolina, Bill Cote of Maine and John Cote of Maine. They have six grandchildren: Nathan, Jacob, Katelin, Emerson, Mia and Michael; and two great-grandchildren: Kason and Koleton.
