The Public Theatre’s production of “A Doll’s House, Part 2” opens Friday. Henrik Ibsen’s Nora has returned 15 years later to the door she famously slammed. Universally acclaimed as the Best Play of the 2017 Broadway season, this contemporary sort-of-sequel to Ibsen’s “A Doll’s House,” crackles with razor-sharp humor and intelligence. Show times: 7:30 p.m. Thursday-Saturday, March 15-17; 2 p.m. Sunday, March 18 and 24; and 3 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Saturday, March 23. Call 207-783-3200 for tickets.
