Lewiston firefighters survey the damage Thursday evening after a two-vehicle crash near On the Way Mobil on outer Lisbon Street. According to a police report, Janet E. Libby, 35, of Auburn, was headed out-bound on Lisbon Street and was turning left into the On the Way Mobil lot when her Mercury 4-door collided with a car driven by Jessica Dallachie, 24, of Auburn, who was driving in-bound at about 7 p.m. The impact forced Dallachie’s Chevrolet to skid across a snow-covered island where it came to rest next to an On the Way Mobile sign, it’s front bumper torn off. One woman was examined for pain suffered in the wreck. Sun Journal photo by Mark LaFlamme
