The annual Project Linus Blanket Day hosted by the Canoe City Quilters will be held this Saturday, March 2 from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. at the Old Town Elks Club, 290 Fourth Street.
To participate bring a sewing machine, power strip and sewing supplies. Fabric and batting will be available, but donations are always welcome. If you do not sew or quilt, you can still participate. Organizers will be on hand to guide volunteers. Join in for a couple hours,or bring your lunch and stay for the entire day!
There will once again be free white elephant tables items, including odds and ends, gently used quilt books and patterns, and notions.
