On Thursday, March 7, Fryeburg Academy’s top vocal and instrumental jazz ensembles will perform at Stone Mountain Arts Center in Brownfield. Fryeburg Academy’s students recently performed at the Berklee Jazz Festival and are currently preparing for Maine’s district and state jazz festivals. The evening’s program includes a wide variety of music, from Stevie Wonder to Duke Ellington, and a wide variety of ensembles including jazz combos, vocal jazz ensembles and FA’s big band. Proceeds from the concert support Fryeburg students’ attendance at summer music programs. Dinner is available at 6 p.m., and the concert begins at 8.
