LEWISTON — The Lewiston Seniors’ March 4 meeting will feature a pot luck luncheon at 12:15 p.m. followed by the meeting at 1 p.m. Sign up in the office to bring a dish or salad to share. Those unable to bring anything can purchase a ticket in the office for $6 per person.
Ongoing activities include pickleball at 9 a.m.Monday; Lewiston Bridge Club at 9 a.m. Monday and Tuesday; cribbage at 9 a.m. Thursday; and a walking group at 9 a.m. Monday through Friday. Plan to start learning and playing mahjong on Mondays — anyone interested in any of these activities should call the office at 207-513-3059.
Some of the trips planned for this year are:
Virginia Beach — June 3-8. Includes five nights’ lodging, five breakfasts and three dinners, the Virginia Beach boardwalk, Colonial Williamsburg, dinner cruise on the Spirit of Norfolk, admission to the Nauticus and Battleship Wisconsin, Viriginia Beach Aquarium and Marine Science Center. $775 pp double occupancy.
The Ark Encounter and Creation Museum — June 23-29. Includes six nights’ lodging, six breakfasts and four dinners, admission to the Ark Encounter and Museum, the Newport Aquarium and a day at the Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Gardens. $729 per person, double occupancy.
Cape May, Atlantic City and Philadelphia — Sept. 9-13. Includes four nights’ lodging, four breakfasts and four dinners, trolley tour of historic Cape May’s Victorian homes, guided tour of Cape May Point, lighthouses and homes. Guided tour of Philadelphia and time to enjoy the Atlantic City boardwalk. $585 per person, double occupancy.
Vermont Foliage Trip — Oct. 21-25. Includes four nights’ lodging, four breakfasts and four dinners. Tour Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream Factory, the Rock of Ages Granite Quarry and Cold Hollow Cider Mill and have a dinner cruise on Lake Champlain. $725 per person, double occupancy.
All trips require a $75 per person deposit upon signing.
Planned day trips include a Wine Trip, Isle of Shoals, Foster’s Clambake, Ogunquit Playhouse, Boston Christmas Festival, and Boothbay Harbor Festival of Lights.
