WEST PARIS — The musical duo The ‘75 Scottys will play at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 10, at the West Paris Public Library. The concert is free.

Lauren Scott and Chris Borden are The ’75 Scottys. Many have danced to their lively tunes recently at the family friendly community contradance in Otisfield. They are known to routinely jam at Norway Brewing Co.

Scott, who is the assistant librarian at West Paris, is the fiddler. Her husband, Borden, plays the guitar and bodhran. They have been playing together for five years. They will play traditional Irish music, as well as music from Quebec and Eastern Canada. They will perform toe-tapping tunes and wistful waltzes.

There is no snow date. If the weather is of concern, check the library website, westparislibrary.org, the library’s Facebook page or answering machine, or find it listed in cancellations on channels 6 or 8.

For more information, call the library at 207-674-2004.
