For the eighth year in a row, the University of Maine has been included on a list of “military friendly” colleges, universities and educational institutions that offer noteworthy services, opportunities and support for veterans of the United States military service.

Qualification for the Military Friendly Schools list is based on research from public data sources, input from student veterans and survey responses from participating institutions.

The Military Friendly Schools list is compiled each year by VIQTORY, a service-disabled, veteran-owned small business that connects the military community to civilian employment, educational and entrepreneurial opportunities.
