BRUNSWICK — Ben Lane-Robichaud scored a goal and two assists as Edward Little cruised to a 5-0 victory over Mt. Ararat/Lisbon/Morse in boys’ hockey action Saturday evening.
The Red Eddies (10-5) scored three goals in the second period. Freshman Jack Keefe assisted on the first and last goals of the game for Edward Little.
Edward Little was stingy on allowing any clear shots on net.
Goalie Devon D’Auteuil made five saves for Edward Little, while Sean Moore prevented 25 of 30 shots for the Eagles (8-8-1) in the losing effort.
St. Dominic 5, Portland/Deering 1
PORTLAND — Dominic Chasse scored twice as St. Dom’s beat Portland/Deering 5-1 in boys’ hockey action at Troubh Ice Arena on Saturday.
Will Fletcher added a goal and an assist, and Jacob Lewis and Lucas Pushard also scored for St. Dom’s (10-4-1), which led 3-1 after two periods.
Donato Tocci scored with 1:30 left in the second period for Portland (7-8), off assists from Max Cheever and Jake Luce.
Girls’ basketball
Boothbay 52, Oak Hill 31
LEWISTON — Faith Blethen and Glory Blethen netted 19 points each, leading Boothbay past Oak Hill in the MVC girls’ basketball championship game Saturday.
The Seahawks, trailing 11-9 after one quarter, outscored Oak Hill 32-11 over the middle two quarters.
Abby Nadeau led the Raiders with eight points.
