PARIS — Doodle is Responsible Pet Care of Oxford Hills’s Pet of the Week.

Thirteen-year-old Doodle is a sweet senior cat that looks like she has a story to tell. She entered the shelter as a stray cat so whatever her background story is will remain unknown. What is known about Doodle is that she is very interested in making friends. She is a loving cat with beautiful eyes that draw people in, making it difficult to walk away from her.

Doodle’s past is a mystery. However, her future will be brighter when she is adopted into a loving home.

Responsible Pet Care of Oxford Hills is a no-kill, nonprofit shelter and adoption center for cats and dogs, and the holding area for stray dogs for 12 towns in Oxford County.

Anyone interested in adopting a pet from RPC can visit the shelter as follows: Wednesday and Thursday from noon to 4 p.m.; Friday and Saturday from noon to 5 p.m.; Sunday noon to 4 p.m.

Most of the adoptable pets and the adoption application can be found on the shelter’s website at responsiblepetcare.org.

Responsible Pet Care operates a thrift shop named Pawsibilities at 132 Waterford Road in Norway. It’s open Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Donations of clean, usable household items are accepted during shop hours. All the money raised at Pawsibilities supports RPC.
