Cooking demo and potluck
INDUSTRY — Plants Are Best will host a cooking demo and plant-based potluck supper Friday, Feb. 8, at the Town Office.
At 5:30 p.m. Mary Beane of Salt and Pepper restaurant opening this spring will give a short talk and cooking demonstration. The potluck will begin at 6 p.m.
All are welcome.
Phillips church annual business meeting
PHILLIPS — The annual business meeting for the Phillips Community Church will be held at noon Sunday, Feb. 10, at Community House, 31 Main St.
It will follow the 10:45 a.m. worship service at Community House. There will be a buffet dinner provided by attendees. All are invited to attend.

St. Timothy’s Circle to meet
DIXFIELD — St. Timothy’s Circle 504, Daughters of Isabella, will meet at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 12, at Holy Savior Parish Hall.
Chairpersons for the meeting are Terry Umbro and Jennifer Kreckel. Committee members are Jean Wikens, Druscilla Breton and Patricia Hopkins.
The following will be congratulated on their 25-year-plus membership with the Daughters of Isabella: Katherine Lawler, 28 years, and Pierrette Gagnon, 42 years.
Membership dues should be paid in full by March 31. Daughters may pay at the monthly meeting or mail a $15 check to Cheryl Cox, financial secretary, 41 Nash St., Dixfield, ME 04224.
Daughters of Isabella to meet
JAY — St. Rose of Lima Circle 677, Daughters of Isabella, will meet at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 13, at the Parish Hall.
The committee members for the Mardi Gras social will meet afterward. The social will be held at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 5, in the hall. Members may bring a guest.
