MONMOUTH — Kaeti Butterfield tossed in a team-high 11 points to pace a balanced attack as Monmouth dispatched Mountain Valley 55-47 in girls’ basketball action Tuesday.
The Mustangs (10-4) drew a plethora of fouls and connected on 22-of-30 shots from the foul line. Libby Clement contributed 10 points on one field goal and 8-of-9 shooting from the foul line for Monmouth.
Kierstyn Lyons collected six field goals, including four from 3-point range, for a game-high 17 points for the Falcons (10-4). Rylee Sevigny produced 14 points for Mountain Valley in the losing effort.
Boothbay 47, Winthrop 24
BOOTHBAY HARBOR — Faith Blethen scored 15 points and the Seahawks (14-0) cruised to victory over the Ramblers (11-2) on Tuesday.
Boothbay pulled away in the third quarter, outscoring Winthrop 19-3. Madison Faulkingham added 10 points for the Seahawks.
Aaliyah WilsonFalcone scored eight points for Winthrop.
Carrabec 47, Telstar 30
BETHEL — Freshman forward Cheyenne Cahill drained a game-high 28 points to power Carrabec to a 47-30 triumph over Telstar in girls’ basketball action Tuesday.
The Rebels (3-11) pounced to a 9-0 lead in the first quarter, and inched their way to a 17-11 margin at the half. Junior center Luci Rothwell collected a team-leading 20 points on seven field goals and six free throws.
The Cobras (4-10) catapulted into the lead in the third quarter with a 26-10 run, taking advantage of man-to-man coverage and a myriad of turnovers. Freshman guard Brooke Welch contributed 10 points in the winning effort.
Hebron 35, Buckfield 25
BUCKFIELD — Allyson Walsh scored 12 of her 19 points in the second half to lead Hebron to a 35-25 girls’ basketball win over Buckfield on Tuesday.
Katherine Ducharme and Franceska Halloran each chipped in with six points in the win, and the Lumberjacks’ (9-1) defense held the Bucks to nine points in the second half.
Hannah Shields led Buckfield (4-7) with eight points, and Katheryn Henderson had seven points.
Oak Hill 49, Mt. Abram 22
SALEM — Desirae Dumais led Oak Hill with 11 points as the Raiders defeated Mt. Abram 49-22 in girls’ basketball play Tuesday.
Anna Beach and Abby Nadeau each had seven points for the Raiders (12-1), who had 10 players reach the score sheet.
Kaylee Knight led the Roadrunners (5-9) with nine points and Summer Ross had seven.
Poland 38, St. Dominic 26
AUBURN — Sophie Vallee made six field goals and four free throws for a game-high 16 points, leading Poland to a 38-26 victory over St. Dom’s in girls’ basketball action Tuesday.
The Knights (4-10) took a 16-9 lead in the first quarter, and added a five-point spread in the final quarter to notch the win. Ally Gagne chipped in seven points for Poland.
Mia-Angelina Leslie paced the Saints (6-5) with 10 points, while Becca Zimmerman added eight.
Rangeley 41, Pine Tree Academy 37
FREEPORT — Winnie Larochelle had 22 points to pace the comeback for the Lakers (12-1), who used a 13-4 fourth-quarter run to rally past the Breakers (6-7) on Tuesday.
Adrianna DePalma had 17 points, including three-3-pointers, to lead the offense for Pine Tree Academy, while Emily Schlisner added 12 points.

Gray-New Gloucester 84, Old Orchard Beach 51
OLD ORCHARD BEACH — Ryan Lachance had seven of his 11 points in the first quarter as the Patriots (10-3) broke out to a 21-8 lead and pulled out to a 40-20 advantage at halftime on their way to easily handling the Seagulls (5-7) on Tuesday.
Matthew Johnson had 14 points to pace the balanced attack for Gray-New Gloucester. John Martin tossed in 12 and Connor Myatt contributed 11.
Old Orchard Beach’s Ryan Crockett led all players with 27 points.
NYA 61, Buckfield 29
YARMOUTH — Te’Andre King scored 22 points and grabbed 23 rebounds to lead the Panthers (7-5) over the Bucks (3-10).
NYA pulled away in the second quarter with a 20-4 run.
Noah Wiley scored 11 points for Buckfield.
Oak Hill 67, Mt. Abram 56
WALES — The Oak Hill Raiders had four players reach double figures in a 67-56 victory over Mt. Abram in a boys’ basketball contest Tuesday.
Gabe Samson led the Raiders (4-9) with 17 points, while Gavin Rawstron chipped in 15 points, Ausborn Boston had 11 and Caden Thompson finished with 10 points.
Hunter Warren led Mt. Abram (5-9) with 13 points, and Nathan Luce had 11 points.
