Workers with Ganneston Construction of Augusta continue to work on the expansion of the Oxford County Courthouse on Wednesday, setting concrete walls that will serve as the new basement. The expansion has an expected finish date of May 2020. Plans for the project include a two-story, 11,000-square-foot addition, renovations to the interior of the building, a $30,000 metal-detection system and extensive reconfiguration of traffic flow and parking areas.
