I thank Democrats in Washington, D.C., for standing up to the schoolyard bully. The best way to stand up against a bully is to not let him have his way.

This nation needs and must have a system of checks and balances to prevent what is happening in the nation’s Capitol. No bully is going to ram his vision of America down my throat.

The nation’s leaders must remain strong and not give up the voice of the people.

The days of the schoolyard bully must be put to bed if anyone is to feel secure again, and the promise of America is not lost to bluster.
