BATH — Richard Wood and Gordon Belcher will present their blazing Prince Edward Island Celtic at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 18, in the Annex of the Chocolate Church Art Center, 804 Washington St.

Audiences will be taken on ride jigs and reels, strathspeys and hornpipes, and beautiful airs. Wood’s fiddle and infectious melodies complement Belcher’s versatile voice, singing many humorous and poignant songs. 

For more than two decades, Wood, an award-winning fiddler from Prince Edward Island, has impressed audiences with his talent, energy and enthusiasm around the world. 

Belcher can be counted on for a lively and engaging stage show filled with singable tunes and his joy of entertaining. Whether playing before large festival crowds, in the courts of royalty or in intimate folk club settings, Belcher’s voice and versatility on a variety of instruments are a recipe for a memorable evening.
