ARMINGTON — Bristol Paige, the first baby born at Franklin Memorial Hospital in 2019, arrived at 3:40 a.m. Jan. 1.
Bristol Paige weighed 7 pounds, 10.8 ounces and was 19 1/4 inches long.
JennieLea Hanna of Franklin Health Women’s Care and nurse Natasha Foster attended the natural birth.
Bristol Paige’s parents Larissa and Jason of Rumford arrived at the hospital at 8 a.m. Dec. 31. Larissa’s due date was Dec. 28.
“I used the tub they have here,” Larissa said. “I loved that. It’s so nice here.”
Larissa said she has been going to Franklin Health Women’s Care for about 10 years. She saw JennieLea Hanna often during pregnancy. Natasha Foster taught the parenting class the couple attended.
“I can’t say enough good things about the staff here,” Jason said.
Added Larissa, “We love it here.”
Bristol Paige is the couple’s first child. Her maternal grandparents live in Rumford and paternal grandparents in Mechanic Falls and Rochester, New York.
As FMH’s first baby of 2019, Bristol Paige and her family received a quilt donated by the Village Scrappers and another by the Tumbledown Tackers. They also received a baby afghan made by Mary O’Donal, a plush puppet and book given by the hospital’s gift shop.
