LIVERMORE FALLS — Upon advice from legal counsel, the special Regional School Unit 73 school board meeting scheduled for 6 p.m. Jan. 2 has been postponed.

The special meeting had been called Dec. 26. The agenda included two executive sessions to discuss personnel issues.

Superintendent Todd LeRoy on Dec. 24 confirmed the elimination of the principal’s position at Spruce Mountain High School and a plan to transform the high school and Spruce Mountain Middle School into one secondary school, which are at the root of the executive sessions.

The next regularly scheduled school board meeting is 6 p.m. Jan. 10 in the Cedar Street Conference Center.
