AUGUSTA — A Hallowell man and Pittson woman were charged with drug trafficking in Hallowell and Augusta.
Ryan J. Partridge, 29, also known as “Moon,” was arrested Monday and charged with four counts of aggravated trafficking in schedule W drugs, two charges of which involved heroin and fentanyl, the other two involving cocaine base, or crack.
Rickita A. Rosso, 28, of Pittston, whom a police affidavit indicated is Partridge’s girlfriend, was also arrested and charged with two charges of unlawful trafficking in scheduled drugs.
Police, according to an affidavit from Augusta Police Detective Benjamin Murtiff, worked with a confidential informant who allegedly purchased drugs from the couple on Nov. 28 in an apartment in Hallowell and from Partridge Nov. 29 behind a restaurant in Augusta, while wearing an electronic audio transmitting device. The affidavit states 0.45 grams of fentanyl and heroin, and 0.2 grams of cocaine base, were purchased on Nov. 28, and 0.48 grams of fentanyl and heroin and 0.31 grams of cocaine on Nov. 29.
In 2015, Partridge was convicted and sentenced to 50 months in federal prison, with three years of supervised release after his prison term, for drug trafficking in oxycodone and heroin.
Bail was initially set at $50,000 for Partridge, and $15,000 for Rosso.
The pair were arrested Monday following a traffic stop on Washington Street in Augusta.
