LEWISTON – Constance L. Labrie, 84, formerly of Sherbrooke Avenue in Lewiston, died Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2018, at the Lamp Memory Care Center in Lisbon.
Known to all as Connie, she was born in Lewiston on March 19, 1934, the daughter of Romeo and Joan Soucy (Heutz) Michaud. Educated in local schools, she was a graduate of St. Dominic High School. On August 7, 1954, she married Adrien F. Labrie Jr. Mr. Labrie passed away on February 19, 2010.
Connie worked at General Electric for many years, and later worked at the Lewiston L.L. Bean Call Center. She was a huge Elvis fan, collected Elvis memorabilia, and never missed a chance to see an Elvis impersonator. She also enjoyed knitting, and in her younger years loved to go camping with her family. Survivors include two sons, Daniel and wife Sherry of Sabattus, Thomas and wife Theresa of Winston-Salem, NC, a sister Sandra Panati and husband Don of Dresden; six grandchildren, Angela, Daniel, Ashley, Thomas, Jonathan and Amber; and ten great-grandchildren, Penelope, Violet, Connor, Mackenzie, Julia, McKayla, Jonathan, Brendon, Kylee, and Shawn.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 9, 2018, at the Grace Community Church, 1498 Turner St., Auburn. Interment, Maine Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery in Augusta. Condolences, donations, and a video tribute may be found online at www.albert-burpee.com.
