LIVERMORE — Selectpersons voted Monday evening to hire resident Michael Cote for the highway department.

Cote will be paid $14 per hour to start. 

In other business, Administrative Assistant Amy Byron reminded board members that the transfer station will close at 11 a.m. Thursday so staff can attend Department of Environmental Protection training that afternoon.

The board is scheduled to meet Dec. 10 and will sign warrants by Dec. 20. The next meeting will be at 6:30 p.m. Jan. 7.
