LEWISTON — The Maine Music Society Chorale will present its traditional Heritage Holidays concert at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 8 and 2 p.m. Dec. 9 at The Dolard & Priscilla Gendron Franco Center, 46 Cedar St.
The 60-member chorale will focus on Christmas carols and Chanukah songs from around the world. Favorites such as “Silent Night,” “Y’mei Chanukah” and “Our Master, Lord Jesus” will be sung in their original language. While the majority of the songs will be in English, there will be well-known and beautiful melodies in French, German, Polish, Hebrew, Spanish and Latin, with translations provided.
The concert will end with everyone joining in to sing a round of Christmas carols.

Reserved seating is $22 for adults, $20 for seniors and $10 for students, plus a handling fee of $2 per ticket.
Children under 12 are admitted free when accompanied by an adult
