LEWISTON — A few days before Thanksgiving, McMahon Elementary School Principal Amber Eliason allowed a Sun Journal reporter and photographer to visit Laura Grover’s kindergarten class and interview students about the holiday.
As students wore the turkey and feather hats they made in class, we asked them to tell us about Thanksgiving.
From one declaring she was 25 years old to another saying she eats spaghetti on Thanksgiving, they made us smile. We hope they make you smile, too.
I am thankful for getting to do this assignment.
