DEAR SUN SPOTS: I would like to thank the seven or eight people who stopped their vehicles on Route 122 in Poland on Nov. 2 to help capture my runaway dog. Annie took off and ran back and forth across the road before heading into the woods. Thanks to folks who pulled over, put on their blinkers, and helped cue traffic to slow down. I only got the names of Jackie and Dennis, but all of you stopped for 45 minutes on a busy Friday afternoon when I am sure you all had other places to be.

Annie would have been history if it had not been for your caring. I will never forget you. Thank you!

DEAR SUN SPOTS: I’m hoping the resourceful friends in our area can offer suggestions regarding a plumbing problem that just won’t go away. Despite excellent artesian well pressure coming into our home and good pressure in both bathrooms and laundry room, our kitchen faucet pressure varies from awful to a mere trickle. We’ve had the tank pressure changed, the well pump checked, two faucets exchanged, boring the water-saver mechanism out of one, and installed a water filtration system, but still no change. If any creative plumbing experts out there in Sun Journal-land have any ideas, we will be extremely grateful! Thank you!
