LEWISTON — The final installment of The Thread Theater at the Gendron Franco Center will be held in the center’s Heritage Hall on Wednesday, Nov. 14. Doors and bar open at 6:30 p.m. for happy hour; the show starts at 7:30.

The monthly event made its debut in February 2015 and has occurred 45 times. In that time, more than 300 original 10-minute sketches have been written and performed by local people. There is a $5 entrance fee for everyone, including playwrights, actors and spectators. This month’s theme is “Thanks for the Memories.”

For more information on how the program is presented, call or visit the center’s website. The event tends to carry adult themes and is often not appropriate for minors, who should be accompanied by responsible adults (or have permission), if they do attend.

The Franco Center, 46 Cedar St., is handicapped accessible. All proceeds benefit the center. FMI: visit the Franco Center Office, go to FrancoCenter.org or call 207-783.1585. Box office hours are noon to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.
