LEWISTON — Museum L-A invites the public to its Treasures and Trinkets sale from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m Sunday, Nov. 11
It will be held in the Atrium of the Bates Mill Complex, right before the museum entrance at 35 Canal St.
The sale will help Museum L-A make room for its collections artifacts, benefit programming, education, collections and preservation efforts. Although the museum will be pulling together many different items, no artifacts from the permanent museum collections will be included in the sale.
The sale will include an array of items from exhibit and display materials, posters and prints, antique toys, furniture, textile manufacturing components from the mills and other hidden gems.
“Since the museum makes every penny count, it is rewarding to know the funds from the sale will be used to help move the museum forward,” Executive Director Rachel Desgrosseilliers said.
There is free parking in the mill building parking lot or in the Canal Street parking garage. Attendees will be able to pay for their items with cash or credit cards.
