Lewiston High School graduate Al Winslow gives Bryanna Bagnato, center, and Marissa Larock a hug after the LHS cheerleaders gave Winslow a get-well card during the football game between LHS and Edward Little High School in Auburn on Friday. Winslow’s son, Gunnar, is a junior lineman for the Edward Little Red Eddies and played in the game, four days after Al was diagnosed with brain cancer. Fans, students and players wore gray, the color of brain cancer awareness. There was also a 50-50 raffle and a bake sale during the game to help the Winslow family with medical expenses. The winner of the 50-50 got more than $800, a record for an ELHS football game. Bagnato said the LHS cheerleader squad made a $50 donation. (Daryn Slover/Sun Journal)
