HALLOWELL — The Harlow will present its last program of The Bookey Readings at 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 9, at the gallery on 100 Water St. 

It will be an evening of fused music and poetry designed and led by poet, musician and Traditional Bear Clan member of the Passamaquoddy, Jason Grundstrom-Whitney. Recently featured on WCSH’s 207, he brings with him is friends, poet, Dr. Deborah Rosche, and musician, (the) Bob Colwell, of The Bone Heads.

The Bookey Readings at the Harlow are a monthly poetry series, held April through November, that has offered spoken word at its best for 25 years. Since 2015, the gallery has welcomed 69 poets and 13 musicians through its doors.
