Andrea Wessling of Community Credit Union, left, Sherie Blumenthal of St. Mary’s Food Pantry and Matthew Shaw of Community Credit Union hold a check for $500 for St. Mary’s Food Pantry at 208 Bates Street in Lewiston. The pantry provides food for more than 1,000 people per week. In addition, St. Mary’s Nutrition Center supports more than 130 households with its urban gardens. Community Credit Union participates in the Maine Credit Union League’s initiative known as Maine Credit Unions’ Campaign for Ending Hunger.
