After careful consideration, we have decided to vote for Doretta Colburn this November to represent District 71 in the Maine State House.

We believe now, more than ever, that strong compassionate women are needed in government. As a former pastor and a current farmer, we believe Colburn would serve us and the state well in Augusta. It is time for women to share in the power of governing.

The Legislature has torn apart Maine policies related to health care, education and the environment. That directly threatens Maine’s future economy and citizens’ livelihoods. Fair-minded, caring legislators are needed to fix those problems.

Colburn is a Clean Elections candidate. We don’t care what party a candidate is in; more money in local elections is not democracy.

We hope others will join us on Nov. 6 in voting for Doretta Colburn, a compassionate woman and farm owner.
