Library to host Teacher’s Lounge Mafia
LIVERMORE FALLS — Teacher’s Lounge Mafia will bring their improv and sketch comedy to Treat Memorial Library at 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 27.
Tickets are $8 apiece and all proceeds benefit the library. There also will be treats on sale for a dollar and a 50/50 raffle (must be present to win).
Tickets for the event are on sale now at the library and at the door the night of the show. Seating is limited.
Legion to hold Halloween dance
WEST PARIS — The Ring-McKeen Legion Hall, 6 Church St., will be holding a Halloween dance from 8 to 11 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 27. Doors open at 7 p.m.
Music will be performed by the band Late Night Selfie. Costumes are optional; there will be prizes for the best costumes.
A $12 donation per person will get tickets at door.

Gym opens for public walks
LIVERMORE FALLS — The AYS gym on Cedar Street (the former high school), will be open from Nov. 1 through March 31, 2019, for anyone wishing to walk.
The hours are from 7 a.m. to noon Monday-Friday. Bring walking shoes to change into.

Lisbon church to host Harvest Party
LISBON — The Lisbon Falls Church of the Nazarene, 182 Main St., will be celebrating the fall season with a Harvest Party from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 27.
There will be games, food, Trunk-a-Treat and a hayride. Everything is free and open to the public. Folks are welcome to dress in family-friendly costume.
Cemetery association to hold meeting
AUBURN — The fall meeting of the North Auburn Cemetery Association will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 27, at the home of Don and Terry Lebel, 625 North Auburn Road.
Anyone who owns a lot or is interested in the cemetery is invited to attend.

Coats for Kids have been delivered
JAY — The Salvation Army has delivered Coats for Kids and they are now avaialable at the Jay Laundry Room, 316 Main St., and Depot Laundry, 15 Jay Plaza Lane.
Knitting Knights to convene
LEWISTON — Lewiston Pubic Library has announced it will host the Knitting Knights from 5 to 6:30 p.m. every other Wednesday in the Jeanne Couture Room.
All ages and skill levels are welcome, and no registration is required. Library staff will be available to teach new knitters, and welcome experienced knitters to share their knowledge and skills. Beverages will be provided, and some supplies will be available.
