Political advertisements, bombarding television screens and other means of communication, cost probably millions of dollars just in Maine (multiply nationwide). That’s just money down the drain.

Only in the United States is there such a protracted election cycle. I consider it all just gross. By now, most people have decided how they will vote.

All parties should agree to stop those half-truth communications that are so intrusive. The money spent on advertising could go to charities where it would do some real good.
